Terminal Rewards Calculation Formula

Last updated
Please note: Terminal Rewards are allocated according to a predetermined USD amount, rather than a fixed token supply. This controlled approach is designed to maintain stable market dynamics while fostering authentic community feedback and engagement within the terminal.
The Thumbs Reward System is a token-based program that rewards users for their platform interactions through "thumbs." Users earn tokens based on their activity during specific reward periods.
Reward Distribution Mechanism
Token Pool: Each reward cycle has a pre-determined allocation of tokens (T) dependent on a pre-determined USD value . For example, $24,000 USD at current market price of $0.01663/token =1,443,175 tokens of the cycle.
Cycle Duration: The reward cycle spans 30 days, after which points are tallied, and tokens are distributed.
User Tiers: Higher-tier members get access to more news cards, increasing their opportunities for interaction and potential rewards.
Thumbs Reward Points Calculation
Points are awarded based on the number of thumbs interactions in each cycle, following this structure:
0–10 thumbs: 1 point per thumb
11–50 thumbs: 1.5 points per thumb
>50 thumbs: 2 points per thumb
Token Allocation Formula
Tokens are distributed to users in proportion to their accumulated points compared to the total points earned during the cycle.
Extra Boost (Tiering System)
Formula:
Extra Boost = Rewards Points * Extra(X)
Space Lord (Extra 2x points)
Galaxy Brain (Extra 1.25x points)
Ape Mode (No Extra points)
Space Potato (No Extra points)
Undisclosed Calculation Factors that may disqualify users from receiving airdrops To maintain fairness and prevent exploitation by airdrop hunters, certain components of our distribution formula will remain confidential. While we do not disclose the exact methodology, these factors may include, but are not limited to:
Token Holding Period: Users who continuously hold their tokens, rather than buying or selling in brief windows, may be favored.
Last-Minute Behaviors: Sudden, large token purchases at the end of the month or rapid-fire “thumbs up/down” clicks to artificially boost engagement will not be viewed as genuine participation. (example: immediately clicking thumb up/down in all cards without actually analyzing the investment memos and links attached)
Trading & Dumping Patterns: We track short-term trades made purely for airdrop eligibility, aiming to discourage token dumping immediately after the rewards are distributed. (example: buying 600,000 $ROCKETs at the end of the month, validating, and dumping tokens after airdrop).
Superficial Interactions: Merely clicking “thumbs up/down” without genuinely engaging with content or following through on links will be given less weight in our assessment.
We believe these undisclosed measures encourage authentic community involvement and help ensure that airdrops reward active, long-term supporters over opportunistic or manipulative behaviors.
